WHAT TO EXPECT

Some basic information that can help you better plan ahead.

  • What are the park's hours?

    The park operates with varying hours: 

    Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

    Monday to Saturday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm 

  • What types of camping are available at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park?

    Red Rock Canyon offers a wide variety of ways to stay: RV, Tent, Glamping, Overland, Dispersed Camping, RV Rentals


  • Are there any special amenities or features for glamping?

    Our glamping experiences come with a combination of excellent amenities from heating and air conditioning to hot tubs and outdoor showers. Each glamping experience is unique. Check them out on the Glamping page!

  • What are the check-in and check-out times for camping?

    Campsite check-in: 2 pm

    (Early check-in at 9 am for an additional fee ($15) if the site was unoccupied the night before)

    Campsite check-out: 11 am


    Glamping Check-in: 3 pm

    (Early check-in at 11 am for an additional fee ($15) if the site was unoccupied the night before)

    Glamping check-out: 11 pm


  • Is there Wi-Fi available?

    Wi-Fi is offered at the office and with Happy Camper reservations.

  • Can I make a reservation?

    Yes, you can book online (click "Book Now") or call us at 405 - 542 - 6344.

  • What activities can I do at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park?

    Available activities included: Camping, hiking, biking, climbing, rappelling, swimming, overlanding, land nav (311 acres), catch and release fishing, volleyball and tetherball, music, festivals, summercamp, baptisms

  • Are there any facilities like showers or bathrooms?

    Yes, there are free HOT showers and restrooms located throughout the canyon.

  • Is there a place to get food near the campground?

    The park does not offer any food outside of the main office but there are fod options in town: 


    Granny's Country Kitchen- Their homemade pies and coblers are INCREDIBLE! Open Wednesday-Sunday.


    Pacina's Mexican Cafe - Enjoy half-priced drinks and beer every Monday through Thursday from 2-5 PM

  • Can I have a campfire at my campsite?

    Yes, you may have a campfire in your campsites fire ring or in unused community firepits.

Campground Policies

General Policies

  •  Day Use Hours: Open from sunrise to sunset.

Campfire Safety

  • Fire Restrictions: Campfires are only permitted in designated fire rings, and all firewood must fit entirely within the fire ring.
  • Supervision Required: Campfires must be attended at all times.

 

Camping + Activities

  • Camping: Overnight stays are permitted only in designated campsites.
  • Hammocks: Use proper hammock webbing to prevent damage to trees.
  • Rappelling: Allowed with prior registration. Please check in at the front office to sign a release before starting.
  • Drones: Permitted for FAA-licensed pilots only. Registration and a signed release at the front office are required before flying.


Prohibited  Activities

  • No Unauthorized Activities:
  • Dumping waste water on the ground.
  • Defacing the canyon walls.
  • Playing amplified music.
  • Other Restrictions: Pets, hammocks, and drones are subject to specific rules as noted above.


Pets

  • Leash Requirement: Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet at all times and must not be left unattended.
  • Clean-Up: Please dispose of pet excrement properly.
  • Restricted Areas: Pets are not allowed in any park buildings.

Environmental

  • Flora and Fauna:
  • Do not pick wildflowers or other plants.
  • Cutting live trees or branches is strictly prohibited.
  • Waste Disposal:
  • Throwing ashes, charcoal, or waste water on the ground is prohibited.
  • Do not burn trash in fire rings.
